In the aftermath of the events on the North Side, and mindful of the fact that Oakland house party season is fast approaching, OPDC hosted a public safety meeting involving law enforcement, representatives of the University of Pittsburgh, and elected officials to provide updates—and hear resident concerns—about enforcement policies and strategies for loud parties, Airbnb misuse, and what neighbors can and should do to communicate their concerns and keep themselves safe.
