Anderson Playground

About

The Department of Public Works (DPW) seeks to renovate Schenley Park’s Anderson Playground, also known as the “Dinosaur Playground,” to create an iconic, community-centered, and accessible public playground for the Squirrel Hill, Oakland, Greenfield, and Four Mile Run neighborhoods.

As of October 2023, the city is contracting for site work and the new playground equipment is in production. Construction is expected to begin in November 2023, and open for play mid-Spring 2024.
