Let's Talk: Oakland Public Safety

  • OPDC 294 Semple Street Pittsburgh, PA, 15213 United States (map)

Oakland is a vibrant, busy place and keeping residents and visitors safe here entails many different kinds of action and attention. Pittsburgh Police work in collaboration with Pitt Police here, but problems persist around loud house parties, illegal parking, disruptive street closures, and nuisance properties, both private and commercial.

Join a community conversation with Pittsburgh's Director of Public Safety Lee Schmidt, who is responsible for the management of the city's police, fire, EMS, nighttime economy, animal control, emergency management and homeland security operations.

Bring your questions and suggestions!

Light refreshments will be served.
