PRC hard-to-recycle collection at PPG Paints Arena

ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

 Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) will conclude its 2025 hard-to-recycle collection campaign on November 1 by hosting a drive-thru event in Pittsburgh to provide Pennsylvania residents with an opportunity to safely dispose of a wide variety of items including televisions, computers, other e-waste, tires and small Freon appliances.

This final PRC hard-to-recycle collection of 2025 – presented in partnership with PPG and Pittsburgh Penguins

  • Saturday, November 1, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

  • PPG Paints Arena

  • 1250 Bedford Avenue, Pittsburgh

Participants must register in advance at www.prc.org/CollectionEvents or by calling 412-488-7490.

For a $5 PARTICIPANT FEE, individuals can drop off unlimited cell/home phones, computer towers and peripheral equipment (keyboards, laptops, mice, etc.), expanded polystyrene packaging material, microwave ovens, and video game consoles/DVD players.

For an ADDITIONAL FEE, individuals can recycle televisions and computer monitors, printers, fluorescent tubes, small Freon appliances and tires (with and without rims). Visit www.prc.org to view the complete fee structure.
