Our next Let's Talk is a bit of a departure from our usual format! Every August Oakland welcomes students who are living off campus and on their own for the first time ever, so OPDC's summer student interns are planning a back-to-school event all about renters' resources.

Come learn about how to read and understand a lease, what kinds of legal rights and responsibilities tenants and landlords have, and help us explore opportunities to advocate for affordable housing and better living conditions both here and across the city.

The meeting is being held in person at OPDC’s offices at 294 Semple Street, Central Oakland.
