Election Day!

The general election is coming up on Tuesday, November 3. Polling places are open in Allegheny County from 7 am to 8 pm. You must report to the polling place listed on your voter registration card in order to vote in-person. If you are registered to vote in Pennsylvania but do not know where your polling place is, visit www.pa.gov/services/vote/find-your-local-polling-place to enter your information and find out.

Mail-in and absentee ballots must be received by the Board of Elections by 8 pm on Election Day in order to be counted. Voters may only drop off their own ballots. A completed ballot cannot be dropped off at a polling place – in-person drop-off is available only at the County Office Building, 6th floor.

If you are in line to vote by 8 pm on election day but haven’t yet voted, stay in line! Voters in line as of 8 pm on Election Day must and will be allowed to vote.
