City of Pittsburgh Juneteenth Closures for Friday, June 19, 2026

Pittsburgh, PA – The City of Pittsburgh’s administrative offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026 in observance of Juneteenth. Additional public facilities and services will be closed to delayed due to the holiday.  

Environmental Services 

There will be no City of Pittsburgh refuse, recycling or bulk waste collection on Friday, June 19. This will not impact the Oakland community.

Residents can see their scheduled collection days, including holiday schedules, on the annual collection schedule and newsletter. Residents with questions can contact the Bureau of Environmental Services at 412-255-2773.   

Parks & Recreation (CitiParks) 

All CitiParks facilities will be closed on Friday, June 19, with the exception of spray parks.
