The Oakland Business Improvement District (OBID), and Oakland Planning & Development Corporation (OPDC) are hosting a Development Activities Meeting in collaboration with the Dept. of City Planning.

Environmental Charter School is proposing to relocate its middle and high school to a facility in the Pittsburgh Technology Center (743, 709 Technology Drive - South Oakland).

Approximately 650 students, 83% of whom come from the Pittsburgh Public School District. The students receive a bus pass, with most students traveling to school via PRT. The goal is to open in September 2027.
