Thank you to everyone who has donated to support our work this giving season. Today is the LAST DAY to make a tax-deductible contribution to support OPDC’s work in the community.
Read stories from neighbors who have been directly impacted by your support. From long-time homeowners like Dolores Frisco to high school students like Brittany Morris, your donations provide programs that create livable communities and access to opportunity.
Developing affordable housing has long been the focus of OPDC’s work. Oakland Affordable Living is our most recent development, with 49-units comprised of one-, two-, and three-bedrooms rented to individuals earning less than 60% of area median income (AMI). We offer six ADA accessible units, two units with hearing and visual aid accessible adaptions, and 25 family-sized units.
Your gift to OPDC creates housing equity for seniors, families, and individuals with disabilities.
In response to correspondence, OPDC issued the following response.
OPDC established the Oakland Community Land Trust (CLT) to preserve our neighborhood’s rich residential fabric. Through the CLT strategy, we achieve equity through housing affordability for community members from varied backgrounds and incomes.
Your gift to OPDC provides low- to moderate-income buyers with access to affordable and permanent housing.
