OPDC has redeveloped Allequippa Place and is building new construction at 2520 Wadsworth Street to provide more affordable housing options in Oakland. Allequippa Place was one of the first low-income housing tax credit developments in Pennsylvania, and we’re proud to maintain its affordability for years to come. We are now accepting applications for 12 three-bedroom, 13 two-bedroom, and 24 one-bedroom units. The new building at 2520 Wadsworth Street will include six ADA accessible units and two units with hearing and visual aid accessible adaptions.
