OPDC has been selected by HiberSense to join other nonprofits in the “Smart Heating and Cooling Cohort”, funded by The Forbes Funds, to test a newly-developed temperature control system.

Members of the Oakland Landlord Alliance (OLA) placed an order of 735 Toter trash and recycling bins, in an effort to manage overflowing waste in the neighborhood.

On July 28 and August 11, OPDC collaborated with PittServes’ Office of Sustainability to organize two off-campus collection drives for student residents to recycle their unwanted – but still usable – stuff.
