Description
The City recently passed legislation reforming the process for outdoor vending permitting, aimed at making the process clearer, more efficient, and more accessible for vendors.
Context
While a vending license may be obtained for street and private property locations in many areas across the City, there is an added layer of public review for vending at parks and public open spaces. Among park locations, the City proposes permitting outdoor vending at Frazier Park.
Status
Vendors are regulated by Chapter 719 of the Pittsburgh City Code and under the Outdoor Retail Sales & Services Primary and Accessory Uses in the Zoning Code. PLI issues full Rules & Regulations that apply to all vendors operating in the City.
